The 39 Clues

Hi everybody!  Today's post is about one of my favorite book series, "The 39 Clues".

 The series is about two orphans from Boston, named Amy and Dan Cahill.  Their ancestors were some of the worlds most famous people, including Benjamin Franklin, Mozart, Elvis, and George Washington.  The series is a big hunt for 39 clues, which if found, can make you become the most powerful person in human history.   

There are 11 books in the series, as far as I know.  Book 11, "Vespers Rising", comes out on April 5th, 2011.   The books take place around the world, from as far south as Australia to as far north as England, and everywhere in between. 

The Odyssey

Hello. Today I am doing a post on "The Odyssey' by Mary Pope Osborne. I hope that you like it.
This book is about a man named Odysseus who spent more then 20 years at sea trying to find his way home to Ithaca after the Trojan war. He faced a cyclops, a witch, sea monsters, the dead, gods and goddesses, and evil suitors while losing his men. I really recommend this 6 book series. I will give the names of the books and what numbers thay are. The first book is called "The One-Eyed Giant". The second book is called "The Land Of The Dead". The third book is called ''Sirens And Sea Monsters". The fourth book is called "The Gray-Eyed Goddess". The fifth book is called "Return To Ithaca". The sixth book is called "The Final Battle". An Adventureous Fly

I hope you like my post. It is about a fly that travels the world



Once upon a time I was born on a trash heap behind a fancy restaurant in France. I have lots of friends, like crickets, ants, and butterflies. one day my friends flew me out of the trash heap and said I would have to pupate (change into an adult). I would have to eat a ton of food to pupate. I started to eat. I ate eggs, steak, egg nog, red potatoes, and more. It was so delicious!!
After a while I felt a tingle and started to harden up. For a few days my friends were waiting for me. Once I came out my friends were so happy.
I was a fly that wanted to see the world. I packed my bags and went off to see the world. ''Au revor'' (good bye) I said and set off. First I went to England and saw the Queen and she invited me to tea!! Then I went to Egypt, United States, India, China, Russia, Chad, Sudan, Spain, Cuba. When I got home I was made a hero fly. The End

Book Review

This book is about a family. The husband went to fight for the union. During his absence six rebs entered the cemetery and stayed for a few days. A few days later the rebs came back so did the union and the battle of Gettysburg began. The family was told to go and take the kids. They ran a few miles to a farmhouse. They saw photos of a soldiers kids they stayed for three days. When they came back they dug over 100 graves. In the fall the husband came back. A few weeks later Licoln gave his speech. I LOVED this book thanks Kate. This book is called The Cemetery Keepers Of Gettysburg.

Book Review

Once their was a Aztec fisherman who caught a turtle. The turtle was a god in disguise. The god gave the fisherman one wish. He told his wife and she sent him three times to see the turtle god. On the third time she went to far. Read it for yourself to find out. Bye

The Paper Doorway

This is a cool book. My favorite poems are A Skeletons Hotel, The Wart, A Short Trip, Auntie, The Man With Four Eyes, Handyman, Safe Household Accidents, Plurals, Dinner With Jilly, The Threat, A Bad Cat, A Beverage With Antlers, Rain, Rumor And More. Book Review

This book is COOL. Did you know Hawaii is part of Polynesia. It is not on our continent, it is on the same continent as Polynesia. Just one of the cool facts I learned in it. It's name is National Geographic World Atlas For Young Explorers

Nim's Island

Nim's island is a VERY good book. It is about a girl that lives on a island. She has animal friends. She use to have a mom. Her mom died in a whale. Nim had lots of exciting adventures. I am going to give the books a rating of 1 to 10. 10 being the best.
