Hi today we went to Mounts Botanical Garden. This is a very cool place. It has many COOL plants like the''Pony Tail''and the''Dahoon Holly''.
These are very cool flowers. These are big and orange next to a BIG lake.
I think these are PRETTY red and purple bushes and leaves. I had a great time I love this place. Bye.
Next we went to this guy. He talks about many things like colds, and the nose. Time for fun facts brought to you by sam's side! Did you know that your nose makes new snot every 20 minutes!

Today's post is about ancient Egypt. First we well start with the photo above. This is a photo of a mummy that scientist don't know if it is a boy or a girl. Now on to ''the weighing of the heart'' . When the Egyptians mummify there people they left the heart in the body so when they arrived at the Temple of Osiris they could weigh the heart. Please check out the video and I will explain more. This book is about a family. The husband went to fight for the union. During his absence six rebs entered the cemetery and stayed for a few days. A few days later the rebs came back so did the union and the battle of Gettysburg began. The family was told to go and take the kids. They ran a few miles to a farmhouse. They saw photos of a soldiers kids they stayed for three days. When they came back they dug over 100 graves. In the fall the husband came back. A few weeks later Licoln gave his speech. I LOVED this book thanks Kate. This book is called The Cemetery Keepers Of Gettysburg.
